Just two months after we welcomed our sweet baby Jacob into the world, our friends Jenny and Eric also welcomed a sweet baby boy into their home. I remember the day Jenny brought little Andrew over for his very first photo session, what an honor! The day was slightly overcast and we weren’t able to get together until later in the day so we were losing light pretty quickly. It was another late study night for our husbands who are attending dental school together so we had five lively kiddos running circles around us and two newborns we were trying to manage, it was a challenge to say the least. We patiently persevered and were able to get some sweet photos of baby Andrew and I am forever grateful we did.

Tuesday afternoon my husband and I received a message that sweet little Andrew had passed away in his sleep from SIDS, he is 14 months old. As you can imagine their family is devastated and deeply saddened by their loss. I can’t even imagine the pain they must be going through.

There is something you need to know about Jenny and Eric, they are pretty amazing people. Eric is a cancer survivor and a full-time dental student, Jenny is one the most loving and patient mothers I know, together they have five amazing children and the way that each child was able to come into their lives was nothing short of a miracle. Jenny is a stay at home mother and Eric is a full-time student with four little ones under age 5 still at home, I just can’t imagine the emotional and financial burden of planning a funeral service for your child, especially during the week of Christmas. Last Saturday I spent a very rainy day with this sweet family. Mr. “L” was such a lucky little guy to have both of his grandmas visiting and I was such a lucky girl to capture them all together Thanks for braving the rain with me!

This sweet baby boy was such a good little sleeper for his session, I could have photographed him all day! The holidays are just around the corner, so it’s been busy here at Bella’s Image, editing and completing orders! I spent a Saturday morning with this sweet family and they were so much fun! We went snail hunting, counted fall leaves, and had a jumping contest (that I lost in the worst way, great jumping, boys! :). Thanks so much “L” family for letting me visit your beautiful home and family!

The smallest of the “L” bunch is SO adored, can’t you tell?! And he was all smiles, what a little sweetie!

I wish I could remember what I said that got this expression, it cracks me up every time I see it!

It’s been awhile…

I would much rather be blogging, I assure you :) I have been MIA for awhile as we have been in the process of moving across the state and have had two deaths in the family in less than two weeks. For those of you who have been waiting patiently for your sneak peek, I sincerely apologize, I am hoping that life will soon be back to normal so that I can continue to share the sweetness with you! Because of my current schedule and recent events I no longer have any availability for June, I am currently booking July sessions in Spokane ONLY and openings are very limited, so if you are interested in a July session please contact me as soon as possible! Business aside, I would love to introduce baby “P”, he was such a sweetie and at 15 days old he was a dream to work with!
