Welcome to the family Tyla! It’s true, I am proudly related to this beautiful couple and was so excited to share a part of this special day with them. Brien is an avid hunter and a volunteer firefighter (hence the camo and fire engine red incorporated into the wedding, I love it;) Tyla, is all things beautiful, can you tell? I think they pulled it off fabulously. Congratulations you two!
The bride and groom’s sweet little girl waiting for her walk, rather, roll in a wagon down the aisle, I love the “scrunchy” smile she gave me!

It was a good thing there were plenty of firemen on hand for this kiss;)

Beautiful People
Although my husband and I had a fabulous time, our trip to Honduras was not a trip of leisure. In my former life (pre-children) I was a dental assistant for five years and my husband is a pre-dental student. We were able to travel to Honduras with three dentists, a hygienist, and several assistants to offer humanitarian aid in the form of dental care. I must say it was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. During our week there we were able to complete over 200 extractions, 300 fillings, and 500 cleanings in our combined efforts. We had such a great response that by the second day we had to lock the gates to the clinic because we had received a full days worth of work within the first hour of opening the doors. The people were so grateful, it was such a pleasure to serve them. Dental assisting aside, you didn’t think I would travel all the way to Honduras and not take a few shots of some very beautiful children, did you? I was in child photographer Heaven and wishing I could take a few home for the Dapper Baby model shoot! Please meet the beautiful little people of Honduras…
I caught this sleepy little guy on our way out of the clinic, I couldn’t resist those sweet cheeks so I pulled my camera back out!
These beautiful twins stole my heart! You can already tell they will be so gorgeous when they grow up.

I will post some “working” images soon so you know we didn’t play the whole time;)
Test, test…1, 2…3
I never realized how strong my computer addiction was until I had to live without it for three weeks; headaches, nausea, the shakes, yeah, it’s been really rough ;) I have had limited access but it was always so brief that my main concern was checking my emails, so my poor blog has been incredibly neglected. Now that I’m back I felt like this was a great time to update, start anew. I’m excited to share bigger and better images, mmmm…breathe it in, I am loving it! AND just as I promised, some images from Honduras…Welcome to paradise…

I will be posting more this week as well as some wedding images, and some just for fun shots as well (I’ve got to catch up!)
