Hot Hot!  Josh and Tiffanie rocked their session at the UW campus this weekend and braved the unexpected rain!  Seriously, Tiffanie, if I looked half as good as you after a downpour I would run in the rain every day!  Hope you LOVE your sneak peek ;)  HUGE NEWS coming tomorrow!  I so want to tell you now but I can’t let my news overshadow the session for this fabulous couple, I can wait, can you?? ;)

    Punxsutawney Phil…

…Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of all Prognosticators, I’m a believer!  For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about and are thinking that I have started my own cult (uh, no), I am referring to the dear groundhog that told us we would have six more weeks of winter, what faithful Phil failed to mention was that it would last eight weeks and that it would be snowing in Seattle in April!!?  Spring ”officially” began a couple weeks ago, so I will just celebrate the beautiful blossoms and hope that mother nature is done playing with my mind ;)

    Baby love…

Yesterday my husband and I went to see our little peanut on ultrasound.  We had decided beforehand that we were not going to find out the sex my husband wanted the surprise of learning the gender at birth and he knew that with my big mouth and lack of self control I would ruin the surprise if I knew.  I am the sort of person that has to buy gifts the day before so I don’t ruin the surprise, I CAN’T handle the suspense!  So we went through the ultrasound, we turned our heads away when she had to check the little parts below (and I didn’t peek!) we made it through the ultrasound and I had exercised perfect self control.  In fact, my daughter was so proud of me that while the tech wiped the slippery goo from my belly she said “Good job mommy!  You’re a good girl!”  and then she kissed my arm (she’s 2 ;).  We made it home and picked up my son from school, I was so excited to share the DVD of the ultrasound with him, he’s 5 and I don’t think he quite wraps his mind around this whole “baby in mommy’s belly” thing.  Anyhow, we popped in the DVD and BOTH my husband and I couldn’t help ourselves, we kept looking for “the shot” hoping the tech accidentally caught the angle just right (as if we could even read an ultrasound, LOL!) we watched it 5 times!  At this point my husband knew I was dying to know (and I think secretly he was to!) so he told me to go ahead and call.  He admitted that he totally wanted to know and wouldn’t be upset about ruining the surprise.  So, like an excited little girl on Christmas morning I dialed up the office and put it on speaker phone and…

    IT’S A BOY!!

We’re so excited and if I can figure out (or if someone can teach me) I would love to download the ultrasound DVD so we can share it with our Opa and Omi in Germany.

Ok, so on to the photos, I know that’s why you’re really here ;)  This sweet little baby love was sooo content, even if he wasn’t about to give me my sleepy pics (we still snuck a few in), he was perfectly content awake, so why mess with a good thing?  Baby “J’s” mom waited for the surprise of his gender till the day he was born.   Alisa, you’re my hero!  Maybe you can teach me some self control;)
